Climate double glazed units are manufactured with toughened safety glass as standard, ensuring compliance with the highest British and European standards, and are accredited to BS EN 1279 and BS EN 12150.
In addition to the toughened safety glass, we use argon gas to enhance insulation performance. Paired with our warm-edge spacer bar technology, this effectively reduces cold spots and condensation, preventing the growth of unsightly mold while boosting thermal insulation.

Solar reflection is the amount of heat from the sun that is deflected by the glass. ‘U’ value or thermal insulation is a measure of heat loss through the double glazing and is calculated as W/m2K. The lower the ‘U’ value the better the thermal performance. Light transmission is the percentage of visible light directly transmitted through the glass.
